Ray Fulmer is a former American football player who played as a safety in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on October 16, 1961, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Fulmer played college football at the University of Louisville and was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the 6th round of the 1984 NFL Draft. He played for the Bills for three seasons from 1984 to 1986, before finishing his NFL career with the New England Patriots in 1987.
During his time in the NFL, Fulmer was known for his hard-hitting style of play and as a solid contributor on special teams. He recorded 6 interceptions, 1 sack, and 2 fumble recoveries in his career.
After retiring from professional football, Ray Fulmer has been involved in coaching and mentoring young athletes. He currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky.
